Great commentary Mr. Castle! Needs to be heard by millions. Makes me want to run right out and take all my money out of the bank, though that would probably be considered suspicious behavior too, so they’d just come to the house and take it instead.
It does make me want to confront my bank for not standing up for its customers and protecting us from such an injustice. If all the banks joined together and confronted Congress, maybe something would happen. But considering that the banks are insured by the government, regulated by the government and depend on the Federal Reserve for their stock and trade, I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised if they side in with the government over their customers.

True statement. So, I guess it’s up to the customers to stand up to the banks and force their hand.
